Bocanegra exploded on South American scene in the early 2000s. Their first single “Love (the) Machine” reached #14 on the Peruvian Modern Rock Charts with the video becoming an MTVLA and VH1LA staple. “Sombras” quickly followed reaching #5 with another award winning video by Percy Céspedes. After a long hiatus, Bocanegra recently announced their return with new singles being produced in both Peru and the US slated for launch in early 2025.
