Bob Log III is een one man band en een slide-guitar party in z’n puurste vorm. Als “perverse product” van de Arizona-woestijn reist hij sinds 1996 onvermoeibaar de wereld rond, bouwt hij een toegewijde fanbase op en laat hij overal zijn onvergelijkbare show zien. Op het podium verschijnt hij in een extra strakke jumpsuit en een motorhelm met een telefoon/microfoon eraan vast, terwijl hij tegelijk een kickdrum trapt, op een zelfgemaakte voetcimbaal stampt en slide speelt op een oude archtop gitaar. Zijn drang naar muzikale chaos en één grote party bracht hem van kinderfeestjes en obscure beer barns tot enorme festivals. En achter de visuals zit de kern: bliksemsnel fingerpicking en slidewerk dat mensen laat bewegen, grijnzen en meedeinen.
