Banister Park Bowling Club would like to invite your members to enter a team for the Bob Kirton Memorial Trophy 2026, taking place on Saturday 8th August 2026, with a 10:00am start.This is a mixed rinks competition, with each team made up of 2 men and 2 ladies. It’s a great opportunity for clubs to get a team of four together for a full day of competitive bowls, food, and friendly company.
Each team will play 6 matches of 6 ends in one big league, with random opponents throughout the day. We’ll also be using Power-Play Rules, where 1 end counts for double points, adding an extra tactical twist to the competition.
Entry is £50 per team, which includes a jacket potato lunch for all players. Guests are also welcome to order lunch for £10.
Prize money will be awarded to the top three teams:
Winners: £300
Runner-up: £200
3rd Place: £100
