Boating Safety Course - Augusta Boat Show

You will receive an email from the class instructor about a week before the class with the location of the class within the civic center and specifics for the class.

Minimum age is 10 years old to attend this class and children under the age of 13 must be accomanied by a parent ot guardian.

Participation in a boating education course will teach how to properly operate and maintain a boat. There are a few options of course types to choose from. NASBLA approved online courses that are recognized in Maine are available as well as classroom courses.

Classroom Courses

Passage of a final exam is required. You must attend every day of the class in order to receive your certificate.
