Boater Safety Course (8 hours)
Are you ready to hit the water but want to make sure you're doing it safely? Join us for our Boater Safety Course at the USCG Air Station Traverse City! Don't miss this opportunity to become a more confident and responsible boater!
This boater safety class is for recreational boaters ages 12 and older. Topics covered include boating safety and safety equipment, emergency procedures, navigation rules and aids, and boating regulations. The class meets on Saturday, 18 April from 9 am – 5 pm. Lunch on your own. Preregister by April 16th through Eventbrite link. Cost is $17.85 ($2.85 Eventbrite fee) for book and boater safety certificate. You must attend all 8 hours to receive your boater safety certificate.
A minimum of 8 students are needed to hold this class.
