WHEN: 10:30AM - 4:30PM (gaming starts as people roll in). The library opens at 10:00AM.
WHERE: Sayreville Free Public Library social room. Free Wifi, a kitchenette with coffee maker. Feel free to bring snacks or food if you want to have lunch there.
PARKING: There is plenty of parking!!!
WHAT IT IS: A Modern Tabletop Gaming Event. We will have beginner games like Catan, Sushi Go!, Splendor, Carcassonne, Ticket to Ride, & Codenames, as well as some slightly more advanced games like Wingspan and Everdell. For people familiar with the hobby, feel free to bring your own games if you'd like, but do not bring anything inappropriate or offensive. If you don't know how to play a game, we'll teach you! WHAT IT’S NOT: You should not expect to see anything mainstream like Monopoly, Scrabble, Boggle, Risk, Battleship, Yahtzee, or Poker. This is also not a Dungeons and Dragons, Magic, Warhammer, or other niche event.
WHO: Anyone age 14+ who is interested in playing great games with great people! This event falls under the adult programming, but most of the games we play are rated for ages 10+. Anyone under 14 will not be turned away, but will only be allowed to participate with an actively PARTICIPATING adult.
PLEASE NOTE: The library’s rules are fairly lax - but please be respectful of other people’s games and don’t eat anything wet or greasy while gaming. Drink bottles that can be re-sealed are always preferred.
