About this Event
Event Summary:
Board service should feel meaningful, not confusing. This practical Saturday morning training is designed for current board members, new board members, aspiring board members, Executive Directors, and nonprofit leaders who want greater clarity around what effective governance looks like in real life.
Hosted by the Edison Institute, this training will help participants better understand the core responsibilities of board service, including ethics, fiduciary duty, board and staff roles, effective meetings, committee work, and healthy board communication.
