After the walk we will gather again in the Dining Hall for a potluck lunch. If you’d like, bring a lunch dish or dessert to share—welcome but not required!
Paws ‘N’ Shop Pop-up will be on site featuring our exclusive winter walk design tees and sweatshirts,
and our favorite winter walk coffee/cocoa mugs for purchase!

be invited back to this beautiful camp!

On over 400 acres in the northwest hill towns of scenic New Hartford, and Barkhamsted, Connecticut, Camp Workcoeman is one of the oldest continuously operated Scout camps in the country, offering an extensive trail system. The dining hall is a year-round, heated facility overlooking West Hill Pond. Restrooms are located in the lower level.
Parking is available in various sections along the road near
the dining hall and overflow parking is accessible before you
reach the dining hall on the left.
Directions:
From the south (Middletown, Waterbury, etc.)
Take Route 8 North to Pinewoods Road, Exit 55. Go right at the end of the exit ramp to the T-intersection with Route 183, where you will see a sign for camp. Turn left on Route 183 and take the next right onto West Hill Road. Proceed about one mile and take a left across from the Camp Sequassen parking lot, following the sign to Camp Workcoeman. Camp will be approximately one mile down this one-lane road.
From Route 91 (Hartford area)
Follow Route 44 to Winsted. Go left onto Route 183 and proceed for about 3 miles. Go left onto West Hill Road. Proceed about one mile and take a left across from the Camp Sequassen parking lot, following the sign to Camp Workcoeman. Camp will be approximately one mile down this one-lane road.
