Join the BMC for some history and views visiting Solomon's Temple and Wheelton Moor
About this Event

You are invited to join a peer-led walk, hosted by BMC North West volunteer, Nick Howard. From Abbey Village to Solomons Temple and the Drink waters. We discover some of the abandoned farms and Jo’s Cup on the way before making our way back over Wheelton moor to the starting point. We can finish with a brew or a pint in the village if you wish.

We’re excited to welcome you for a memorable day in the outdoors!

Meet the Leader

Nick has been Hill Walking for over 30 years both in the UK and in Europe and is a qualified walk leader through Mountain Training. He is also qualified in first aid and mental health first aid. Nick volunteers for a charity that runs free wellness walks and organises walks once a month, which he has been doing for over two years. Nick is also the northwest volunteer for the mountain training association and organises peer days for its members as well as hosting walks for the BMC. Nick can often be found out in the hills with his dog Sheba, who also loves getting out into the great outdoors.
