Afternoon matinee with Blyth Power and Pog. Doors open at 2pm.Blyth Power - Blyth Power were formed in 1983 by singer and drummer Joseph Porter, formerly of Zounds and The Mob. Even after forty years the band are still surprising audiences with their evolving blend of folk and punk rock. Joseph Porter’s strident vocals, delivered with gusto from behind a diminutive drum kit, are key to the band’s enduring appeal. While the music is defined by the standout melodies, the lyrics are packed with mischievous stories drawn from politics, literature and history.
