We’re kicking off March strong with a brand new concept: BLUR Extended. On BLUR Extended nights, we stretch time. We allow ourselves to go further. Later. Or rather… earlier.
This one runs until 10AM, with a very special sunrise moment: Exkursion, one third of the Electro, New Wave, Techno project Das Firmament, will honour us with a 4-hour morning set starting at 6AM. (Das Firmament, remember? They completely turned The Studio upside down with their All Night Long last November. We’re still not over it!)
And while we’re on the subject of Das Firmament, another member of the trio, Innuendo, will also be with us this month… during BLUR Weekend, for a 6-hour B2B with our dear friend DJ Rino.
But first things first.
This night is also exceptional because we have the honour of welcoming a true legend from Canada: Mathew Jonson. A pioneer who reshaped minimal techno in the 2000s and never stopped crafting his singular, hypnotic, electrifying sound. We cannot wait to hear him on our system.
Before the live, our very own SVS sets the tone.
After, shoplifter returns for her second visit and takes us from 3AM into the early light with her eclectic blend of twisted techno and leftfield energy, the perfect ignition after Mathew’s live.
Upstairs in The Studio, our new resident Bapow opens the floor for his very first set as a BLUR resident. Expect sharp, elegant Tech-House Minimal selections to pave the way for Pancratio, a true house prodigy. We’ve been following his intelligent, deep, powerful (and slightly trippy) productions for a while now. He was on our very first wish-list when we started BLUR. Now it’s happening.
We can’t wait to dance this one with you.
