Free masks provided if needed.Blues dance is a family of Black American social dances (some solo, some partnered) that coevolved with different styles of Blues music throughout history, starting in the late 1800s and extending through today. Blues dance celebrates freedom of expression within community, improvisation, rhythm, and more!
**Evening schedule**
7-8pm: Piedmont Blues lesson with Maria & Forrest
8-9pm: Beginner lesson with Jane
9-11pm: Social dancing
**Lesson info**
The 7pm class will cover Piedmont Blues--is a style of acoustic blues music and related dancing that originated in the Piedmont area of the U.S.
The 8pm class will give you some blues basics :)
No partner required for either.
