Our annual Blues Day Festival returns to Whittles for the 3rd year running.
If you support live music and love blues rock, then this is the perfect festival for you, 6 magnificent bands (Performing on the outdoor stage, weather permitting) indoor and outdoor bars so no queing for drinks, and food available from the band wagon so no need to leave and come back if hungry.
If you came last year, you will know what an immense line up we had, and this year is no different.
This years bands are:
John Angus Band - One of the UK's top original rock blues acts. With three albumssince 2019 and many festival gigs under their belt they are delighted to be able to play their music to a growing fan base across the UK and Ireland.They return with their original Drummer, Pete Hopkins driving the band along with his brother Tim on bass, Guitar maestro, Bram Duckworth on lead and the stunning, Stewart Spiers on harmonica with "the voice" John Angus fronting the band.
Pat Fulgoni Blues Experience - Acclaimed singer Pat Fulgoni fronts this top notch 5 piece blues band already with European Blues festival dates under their belts and equally at home in UK clubs, venues and festivals. Features talented musicians from the Leeds scene including Jacob Beckwith on guitar, Rory Wells on Bass, Sam Bolt on keys and Zebedee Sylvester on drums.
Packet of Three - acket of Three digs deep into a musical melting pot to deliver an entertaining and guitartastic mix of blues, country and rock and roll, featuring original songs alongside chestnuts from Chuck, belters from Bob and corkers from Creedence.
Rare Breed - Original Blues, Soul & Rock n Roll band from Mossley, Greater
Manchester. They have gigged extensively around the North of England including at Night & Day
(Manchester), Round the Corner (Liverpool) and the Blues Bar (Harrogate) as well as
shows in Stoke, Sheffield and Stockport.
In 2025 they won the Firevolt Festival Battle of the Bands and their debut single ‘English Rose’ was released in February this year.
Ben Reel - Irish singer/songwriter from South Armagh, his band is based in Castleblayney Co Monaghan. New album “Spirit’s not Broken”
Partners in Crime - Fronted by Snakewater Guitarist, Bobby Grant and featuring ex pro musicians from Oldham performing a mix of Blues, Rock and soul,
