Blueprint for a Defensible Cybersecurity Program

Arturo began his technology career in his late teens building websites and performing MSP work for local businesses in his hometown while in high school. Making acquaintances in those circles landed him a full-time security gig at his alma mater before he even graduated from college. Since then, he’s been dropped into various leadership roles in information security. Most recently, he serves as the CISO for the GLO where he focuses on creating a defensible security program by building high performing teams, a secure behavior and culture program, and connections with agency leadership to ensure proper investments that help drive and implement agile and effective, risk-based controls to counter current and emerging threats.
