All levels are welcome at this learner-friendly bluegrass jam, hosted by Cherry Blossom Special on 2nd & 4th Thursdays. Registration recommended and walk-ins are welcome!
Cherry Blossom Special https://cherryblossomspecialdc.com/ (Mari Carlson, Justin Heath, Nick Cameron, Gabby Cameron, and Sophie Chang) lead a bi-weekly bluegrass jam for high school students and adults looking to build their jamming chops. They will lead standard tunes from bluegrass repertoire and help you out if you get lost in the chords.
- Jammers should know at least the basics of their instrument, so they can play along with the group.
- $10 suggested donation. Registration recommended and walk-ins are welcome!
- We encourage you to arrive promptly at 7:00 to enjoy the full 2-hour session!
