Cleveland Heights native soprano Midori Marsh returns to her home church to perform with BlueWater in Canteloube’s magical Songs of the Auvergne, with its lush melodies from the heart of rural France. Ms. Marsh has won considerable acclaim with the Canadian Opera Company, performing in major roles across the country, as well as appearing as soloist in orchestral works. The musical conversation begins in the American countryside with Farm Journal by Douglas Moore, a piece bursting with humor, wit and down-home charm. We wrap up the dialogue with Haydn’s Symphony No. 99 in E-flat Major, brimming with evocative folk-inspired tunes, rhythms, and dances. Join us and savor a pastoral respite.___________________________________________
