Blue Ridge Boardband Alliance Quarterly In-Person Meeting: Digital Divide
Join us in person for an exciting event all about the digital divide in Western North Carolina! Connect with local innovators, share ideas, and explore solutions to ensure everyone has access to the digital resources they need. Whether you're a tech enthusiast or community advocate, come be part of the conversation and help make a difference!
Don't miss this opportunity to be involved in research for and about BRBA. Bibi Reisdorf and Megan Foster will be on hand to share their work about the first year of BRBA. The Benton team will lead an activity about county-level data tools to understand broadband deployment and digital opportunities. Your input will help us make these tools as useful as possible to support grant writing, targeting programs, and seeing progress. Whether you're a data whiz or newbie, we want to hear from you.
In addition we will also be test running and giving the team feedback on their newly create game! The game is aimed to help highlight the difficulties of participating in today society without digital skills, devices and/or internet.
Local is still in the works but it will be in the Asheville Area.
