At 23 years old, guitarist and vocalist Sean Mack McDonald is one of the bright young stars on todays blues scene. He grew up in Augusta, GA where he was introduced to various forms of music through the church, relatives, and family friends. After starting out on drums at age two, he started playing piano at age three after hearing Ray Charles. Four years later, he started teaching himself guitar. His influences range from B.B. King, Muddy Waters, and Louis Jordan to Bill Jennings, Pete Guitar Lewis and many more. Hes been featured at major festivals including the King Biscuit Blues Festival, the Eastside Kings Festival, the Lucerne Blues Festival, and the University of Chicago Folk Festival - and regularly tours with his own band.
