Blue Island: 5th Ward Tree Planting

We will be planting 37 native trees on-site and will provide training for volunteers to learn how to properly plant and care for trees.

No experience is necessary and everyone is welcome! As a volunteer, you will work alongside the CRTI team and other fantastic volunteers to help us dig holes, plant trees, mulch, and water.

• Please wear long pants and close toed shoes
• Dress for the weather- we will plant rain or shine!
• Make sure to bring a full water bottle, snack, and sunscreen. We will take care of everything else!
