Join Bloomsburg EMS and the Bloomsburg EMS Training Institute (BETI) for a hands-on Community Health & Safety Day designed to educate, empower, and connect our community. This family-friendly event brings together local EMS professionals, health and safety organizations, and community vendors to provide valuable resources, education, and services for residents of all ages.
This event is especially beneficial for older adults, caregivers, families, and anyone who wants to feel more confident responding to medical emergencies and staying healthy.
Event Highlights:
🚑 Meet your local EMS professionals and BETI EMT students
🫀 Hands-on demonstrations including CPR, First Aid, Stop the Bleed, Narcan, and EpiPen use
💊 Speak with knowledgeable staff about medications, medication safety, and why EMS needs this information during emergencies
🩺 Free vital signs checks, including blood pressure and pulse, performed by current BETI EMT students
🏥 Meet a variety of local health and safety vendors and community organizations offering education, resources, and services to support your health, safety, and well-being. This is a great opportunity to connect with organizations that serve our community and learn about programs available to you and your family.

🥚 Easter Egg Hunt at 1:00 PM — featuring prizes hidden in select eggs… and remember, the hunt isn’t over!
