Settle into the stillness of the gardens with Bloom Yin Yoga, a slow-paced class designed to promote deep relaxation, stress relief, and flexibility. Led by Theresa Mannion, owner of Bloom Organic Hair Salon, this session moves through deep Yin Yoga poses held for longer periods to allow for profound relaxation and mindful awareness.Yin Yoga works with deep connective tissue to enhance joint mobility, increase flexibility, improve circulation, and reduce stress by activating the parasympathetic nervous system. This practice also fosters mental endurance, mindfulness, and emotional balance. Perfect for all levels, including complete beginners.
This class is part of the Garden Movement Series, a collection of outdoor wellness events set in the serene beauty of Rotary Botanical Gardens.
Please bring your own yoga mat. Arrive 15 minutes early to complete a required waiver and be ready to begin promptly at 5:00 PM. Because the gardens close at 6:00 PM, participants are asked to exit after the session concludes.
Online registration closes at 8:00 AM the day before each session. After that, call 608-752-3885 to check availability. Walk-in payment is accepted at the door if space remains. Pre-registered participants should check in at the admissions desk before heading into the gardens.
