About this Event
Celebrate the arrival of spring at our historic farmhouse! Join us for a fun and educational day as we kick off the season with a hands-on event designed for the whole family! You’ll have the chance to prepare your very own seed balls composed of clay, seeds, and potting soil, which are little clay-covered balls of seeds and potting soil, that you can plant to grow, their benefits for the environment, and the simple steps to get them growing.
Participants will also leave with their own flower seed kits, perfect for planting to bring a burst of color to your home!
Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or a beginner, this is the perfect opportunity to get your hands dirty, learn something new, and usher in the beauty of spring in an inspiring and historic setting.
Take the chance to meet some horses from the NYC Mount Auxiliary Unit and learn about the horses and all the great work the Mounted Unit do protecting our city’s parks on horseback!
