Bloom in Mas Spring Brunch

The West Indian Youth Association of Ottawa invites you to its Bloom in Mas spring event in support of our 2026 Ottawa Junior Carnival.

Bloom in Mas Spring Brunch is an opportunity for members of public to learn about the 2026 Ottawa Junior Carnival taking place in August 2026. This year's Ottawa Junior Carnival is the portrayal of some of the Caribbean's traditional Masquerade Characters.

The Brunch will feature:

• Story telling of the various Masquerade Characters featured for the 2026 Ottawa Junior Carnival
• On the spot Costume registration for the Ottawa Junior Carnival. Costume registration is open for children between ages of 1 and 16 years. Learn about our Costume family package
• Light refreshments included in ticket price
• Music
• arts and craft sale
• opportunities to win prizes

Come lets learn and celebrate the Caribbean Masquerade.
