Elizabethton Parks and Recreation is excited to invite the community to celebrate spring at Bloom: Elizabethton Earth Day, a family-friendly celebration of plants, gardening, and a love of our local green spaces.Join us on Saturday, April 18th at Covered Bridge Park from 12 - 4 pm for a day filled with plants, seeds, gardening inspiration, and hands-on activities for all-ages.
Bloom will feature local organizations and community groups sharing resources, demonstrations, face painting by Magic Mirror Skin Art, and other hands-on activities! Admission is free and open to the public, and no registration is required. Several food trucks will be on site with items available for purchase.
A community plant and seed swap will be ongoing during this event, so bring your plants and seeds to swap and bring home new treasures!
Whether you are an avid plant collector, curious about starting a garden, or just looking for a fun way to spend a spring day in the park, Bloom: Elizabethton Earth Day will have something for everyone!
Keep Carter County Beautiful will be hosting a clean-up nearby beginning at 3:45 pm, with swag available for participants. Stop by their booth during the event to find out more details!
