About this Event
Our bodies hold stories our minds may have forgotten.
Quick dive into how trauma and memory live somatically, then craft workshop on writing sensation, physical experience, and body knowledge, particularly women's embodied experiences that go unwritten (menstruation, childbirth, menopause, chronic pain).
Techniques include sensory cataloging, metaphor from flesh, lyric fragments, and permission to write the disgusting alongside the beautiful.
