About this Event

Donate Blood- Save Lives

In partnership with the American Red Cross, we invite you to our life‑saving blood drive. Click this to schedule your donation today. Every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood. Unfortunately, sickle cell disease is the most common genetic blood disorder in the U.S., affecting around 100,000 people. Just a single patient can require up to 100 pints of blood each year to manage complications.

Visit https://www.redcrossblood.org/give.html/drive-results?zipSponsor=femi to schedule your donation. THANK YOU!

1. Be Well‑Rested and Healthy

• Make sure you feel well on the day of your donation.

• Avoid donating if you have a fever, cold, or flu-like symptoms.

2. Eat a Nutritious Meal Before Donating

• Choose iron-rich foods such as spinach, beans, fish, poultry, or fortified cereals.

• Avoid fatty or greasy meals, which can affect test results.

• Avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours before donating.

4. Bring a Valid ID

• A government-issued ID or donor card is usually required.

5. Wear Comfortable Clothing

• Be ready to share what you’re taking with the donation staff.

7. After Donating

• Rest for a few minutes and enjoy the refreshments provided.
