About this Event
Blom/Berger/Dumoulin
Renowned Dutch tenor saxophonist Jasper Blom, winner of the 2019 Boy Edgar Prize, is a versatile musician who has collaborated with Lee Konitz, Chet Baker, and many other legends. For POM Eindhoven and Transition Festival, he joins forces with Belgian pianist Jozef Dumoulin, a former student of John Taylor who is known for his distinctive Fender Rhodes sounds and experimental approach to electronic keyboards.
Together with young German drummer Leif Berger, who is causing a sensation in the Cologne jazz scene, they form a new ad hoc formation. Blom played during the online edition of Transition 2021, then without an audience, but now it's time to experience the saxophonist and his band in all their glory live.
