Blodorn Englar - Spring Reckoning Event.Our bi-annual inter-group private training event celebrates the viking age full-contact communities of the British Isles. A weekend of training, competitive fighting, camping and feasting together as we officially kick off the 2026 season.
The site will be open from 4pm Friday with the aim of holding 2 days of combat - Blodorn has elected to focus on Huscarl for the duration of the weekend. however there will also likely be Eastern and Mask Fighting. Alongside this there will be the usual fully immersive historical camping, revelry, drinking and feasting together.
KEY INFORMATION
- Although this is a private event on private land the site is publicly accessible so usual attracts some attention from the public however as always, security and safety onsite will be a priority.
- Fires are permitted in raised fireboxes with firewood for cooking also being provided for the duration of the weekend by the event organisers. Firewood will be provided but contributions as always are always welcomed.
- Saturday evening will be the familiar feast with all groups in attendance. Please bring a contribution of dishes, meats, stews, sides etc. Tables will be put together to make a feast for all in Blodorn's Camp.

FRIDAY 11TH
- 4PM ONWARDS: Site opens and groups can arrive and set up in the event site in Badley, Suffolk. There is no planned training on Friday. Groups will be arriving at various times to set up. Please refer to the provided site map and liaise with Blodorn upon your arrival.
SATURDAY 12TH
- 9AM: Muster, weapons check and safety brief with commanders - 10AM: Training Commences
- MIDDAY - 1PM: Break For Lunch
- 1PM - 4PM: Training Recommences
- 4PM - 7PM: R & R
- 7PM: Group Feast
- Twilight Hours: Revelry and Inevitable Drinking Games
SUNDAY 13TH
- 10AM: Training Commences -
- MIDDAY - 1PM: Training Ends
- 1PM: Pack Down Camp
- 6PM: Everyone Off-Site
All groups who practice or are interested in full contact fighting are welcome. Please message us directly to register your groups and potential attendee numbers.
