About this Event
Blink of an Eye is exactly what it sounds like- fast.
From the moment artists hear about the exhibition to the day of drop-off, the clock is ticking. Some artists may have a month to build something intricate. Others may have only a few days to sketch an idea into existence.
This free salon-style exhibition explores time as a creative boundary, asking what happens when urgency replaces perfection. The result is a show full of fresh ideas, bold experiments, and work that might not exist under ordinary circumstances.
Blink of an Eye is the final exhibition in the Sixpence Art Series, a one-month pop-up gallery exploring time, creativity, and artistic risk. Inspired by the wedding rhyme “something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue… and a sixpence in her shoe,” each exhibition interprets one part of the tradition through art.
This exhibition represents “something new,” celebrating art created quickly and instinctively.
