Instructor: Becky Night
Grab your friends and relax while you craft. Bring your own item, or embellish a provided bottle to make a custom masterpiece. In this class, participants are welcome to use as much or as little time as needed to create their works. Participants are also welcome to bring their favorite embellishments, and/or use our provided embellishments and materials to achieve their desired look!
This class is geared toward adult participants but pre-teens and teens are welcome to join if supervised by an adult. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us!
Although it washes off easily, Gem-Tac glue will be provided, which can be an irritant to those with sensitivities. For those with concerns, disposable gloves will be provided.
About the Instructor: Becky Night
Becky first learned to crochet from her mother, over forty years ago. Her mother taught her just the basics, and that was enough. From starting chain, to finished edge, and possible ruffle, then maybe some fringe, Becky loves to personalize each piece. Her blog (UnderColorCrochet.blogspot.com) is updated monthly with her latest colorful creation, and she is always thinking about the next color scheme, texture change, and embellishment combination. Becky's day job is with the Division of Extended Studies at Colorado State University Pueblo, and she has 20+ years of experience as a public school teacher of science and math. Becky has been decorating glass bottles for several years, as gifts for family and friends. A selection of one dozen of her bottles was presented as table centerpieces at a Blo Back Gallery event, and her bottles have placed at the Colorado State Fair in the open division.
