Blind Wine Tasting & Potluck

Blind wine tasting, sometimes called mystery wine tasting, is exactly what it sounds like — a wine tasting where no one knows which bottle they’re drinking. No labels. No price tags. Just wine in a glass and your very own taste buds calling the shots.

We will be evaluating the results of the five recognized stages to wine tasting:

· sight

· swirl

· smell

· taste

· savor

It’s the perfect way to add a little intrigue and mystery to wine tasting and to bring people together for a good laugh, a little friendly competition, and maybe even discover a new go-to bottle.

This event will be presented back at our original venue site, Grape Expectations in Henderson.

This event is NOT free! $15.00 for all AWS members and $20.00 for non-AWS members, per person at the door, only cash will be accepted.

As always this event will be a potluck so please bring your favorite dish to share with others. Bring your own bottle of wine to drink if you choose. Wine is available for purchase at the winery, for a discounted price for this event.

We will be raffling off some great prizes, one raffle ticket is included with the entry fee, additional tickets will be available for purchase, $1.00 a piece or 6 for $5.00.

So join us on Thursday, March 19th, the doors open at 6:00, the presentation will start at 6:30.
