The largest of all the Blind Barber locations, Blind Barber Philadelphia is Philly’s premiere speakeasy barbershop. The space is split into three areas, the deceptive front barbershop, marked with a classic striped pole, followed by the speakeasy bar which then leads up to a second-level restaurant bar. All 4,000 square feet of this space is designed to keep in line with the modern-meets-retro concept of the space. The black and white, 50s and industrial look of the barbershop gives way to a more 70s-inspired back bar filled with vintage stonework, earthy tones, cascading plants, warm amber lighting and to make it even more glam, gold trim and accents that complement the custom shag artwork. The cocktails served at Blind Barber are expertly crafted and similar to the space nostalgic with a modern twist. If cocktails are not quite your speed, the two bars also feature a great selection of craft beer, wine, seltzer, and more. The dance floor and resident DJs ensure you will be up on your feet late into the night but don't worry, as Blind Barber has ample seating including intimate banquettes nestled between floor-to-ceiling bookcases, for relaxing as well.
