Bring your furry, feathery, or scaly friends—every pet is invited to the event. Pastor John (Grace UMC) and Pastor Bill (St. Paul's Lutheran) will give your animal companions a special blessing as we celebrate the joy they bring to our lives.
We’ll also have a special moment to remember and a keepsake to remember beloved pets who’ve crossed the rainbow bridge.
There will be tasty snacks for both four-legged and two-legged guests, a paws-itively fun craft project to bring home, and other delightful surprises to make the day memorable for everyone.
We plan to extend personalized invites to rescue agencies, shelters, and veterinary organizations, so we encourage Grace UMC attendees to mix and mingle with guests and their companions.
This is a great opportunity for folks to invite their friends and neighbors who may or may not go to church to come and receive a blessing for their pet and get to know the wonderful Hospitality of Grace UMC, where all are welcome.
Not sure if your or your friend’s animal buddy would have a blast at the event? No worries—just bring a photo of them or their favorite toy, and he or she will still receive a blessing.
For safety, we ask that all pets be kept comfy on leashes or in carriers or cages.
