St Francis was a great lover of creation and renowned for his affinity with animals. His feast day is Saturday 4th Oct and it is traditional to bless animals on this day. All you want their pets or stock animals blessed are invited to join us out the front of St. James Church. It does not matter the faith of the owner; all are welcome :)
