About this Event
Welcome to Volume 2 of Blessed and Highly Flavoured Intergenerational Cooking Workshops happening at La Poubelle Magnifique on April 21st, 2026 at 6:00 PM (Eastern Time). Hosted by me, Chef Marissa Leon-John (ElleJay's), and my dad. 👨🏾🍳👨🏾🍳
In this free workshop, my dad and I will introduce you to another one of my favorite Caribbean dishes. We will be making fried fish escovitch 👌🏾
What to expect: We will walk you through selecting ingredients, how to season, then fry your fish, and how to make that signature escovitch garnish.
Once the cooking is done, we will share a beautiful meal as a family.
Come alone or bring a loved one. You don't want to miss out on this unique experience and be transported from the cold ❄️to the warmth 🌴of the Caribbean islands ✨️✨️✨️
Spots for this free event are limited, so don't hesitate.
We can't wait to see you there 🙏🏾
