About this Event
This BlaST Session, led by members of the Black-led social traders community, will be facilitated by Duane Chong, Founder and Programme Director of Grow Wellbeing CIC, an innovative non-profit supporting diverse community connectedness through Forest School, community gardening and nature-based wellbeing.
Together, the session will explore how community gardens can respond to food insecurity and the climate emergency while building more sustainable, connected local communities.
The workshop will take place outdoors at Bentinck Street Community Garden in Birkenhead, with entrance on Hilton Close, CH41 4NA. There will be space to share practical knowledge and ideas, connect with others, and enjoy food and refreshments provided by Nettle Café.
