The Great George Street Brass Band is pleased to announce we are hosting our spring 2026 concert: Blast of Brass on Monday, May 11, 2026 beginning at 7pm. This year we are featuring audience favourites such as 76 Trombones & Bohemian Rhapsody, as well as many other brass arrangements. We are also pleased to present the premier of a new arrangement "Same Ocean" written by NS composer Adam Taylor for us to perform.
This year we will be joined by the choir from Zion for several vocal selections and to announce that we are dedicating our take at the door to help the church build their new elevator. Zion Presbyterian has been a long time supporter of our band by allowing to play in such an amazing venue so we thought that this year we would give back to them.
