🦋 Blankets & Butterflies 🦋Butterfly Rise Alliance is preparing for our very first community kickoff, and I could not be more excited about what we are building together.
Blankets & Butterflies was created to provide a safe space for connection, healing, networking, resources, empowerment, and meaningful conversations. Sometimes people do not need a formal event. Sometimes they simply need a place where they feel seen, heard, supported, and understood.
Join us on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Newport News City Center Fountain for our inaugural Blankets & Butterflies community kickoff, an evening dedicated to community, conversation, support, healing, and empowerment.
As we prepare for this kickoff event, we are accepting donations to help make this experience possible.

Please note that this is an outdoor community event. Due to our current limited resources, if weather conditions do not permit a safe and successful kickoff, we will cancel and reschedule for a future date. Any updates will be communicated as early as possible through the Butterfly Rise Alliance Facebook page.
Together, we can create a space where healing begins, connections are formed, resources are shared, and no one feels alone.
