About this Event
BLADESMITHING 102 – Forged Tomahawk
Instructor: Bob Laskowski
This intermediate course builds on foundational skills by introducing forge welding using a San Mai technique with 5160 and mild steel. Participants will focus on drifting techniques and working with a mandrel to develop a clean, well-formed eye before drawing out and finishing the blade to create a tomahawk designed for chopping and throwing.
Handles are provided, and each participant will leave with a ready-to-use, functional tool.
This is a fast-paced class that requires prior forging experience, endurance, and confident hammer control.
Ages 16 and over.
