Learn to carve wood in this hands-on class. Carving techniques, tool sharpening, new skills, and a fun time!
About this Event

Join us at Sterling Street Brewing in Devens to learn how to carve wood into spoons!

Students will learn carving techniques, safety, and tool sharpening at the beginning of class. Class will also cover the overall "how-to" on carving. All tools and materials will be provided including carving tools, sharpeners, and locally sourced carving wood. Students usually make a finished project by the end of class. Show up a bit early and order some food and a drink to enjoy while carving and hanging out with like-minded people.

This series of classes is offered throughout the year, with a wide range of topics that vary from class to class. A great idea for a night out with friends, a date night, or a chance to meet other people! Our instructors have combined over 30 years of expereince with wood crafting, survival skills, outdoor guiding, and are a wealth of knowledge. Class starts with getting everyone settled in with introductions, safety techniques, a tour of the materials, and we get to creating our cool projects for the night. Students always get to go home with what they worked on, and usually always finish their project in class.

Join us, grab a drink from the brewery, have a fun night, and learn a new skill! See you there!
