Blackwater Valley Opera Festival takes place from 26 May to 1 June 2026 with opera, recitals, concerts and education events across Waterford and Cork.St Carthage’s Cathedral will host a key part of the 2026 programme, including operas: Handel’s Acis and Galatea with the Irish Baroque Orchestra, and the Irish Salon Opera Series: The Deserted Village by John William Glover, as well as recitals over the June bank holiday weekend as part of BVOF 2026.
