About this Event
Blackout Poetry Workshop for Teens
Discover a creative new way to turn words into art at our Blackout Poetry Workshop! In this hands-on session, teens will transform ordinary book pages into powerful poems and bold visual designs by selecting words and “blacking out” the rest of the text. The result is a one-of-a-kind piece that combines poetry, creativity, and visual expression.
No poetry experience is needed—just bring your imagination. Participants will learn the basics of blackout poetry, explore examples, and create their own unique works to take home.
All supplies will be provided.
