Blackheath Village Day and Light-Up - Saturday 30th November 2024With our last gathering of the year on the horizon, a quick bit of info on the event. We no longer organise a drive-in to this event, but if any of you want to meet up at the tea hut first and drive down together, that would be great.
Cars and Bikes should be pre-1990, and prepared to commit to being there for the duration of the event.
Montpelier Vale will be closed for the day for our exclusive parking, from 12 noon until 3pm, when the road will need to be clear for the children's parade - the Christmas lights go on at 4.30, so if you want to stay for that, you will need to move to alternative parking at 3. The Village Day will also entail carol singers and Morris Dancers, plus a variety of shops and hostelries for your festive pleasure…
Blackheath Creatives are organising the weekend Vintage Trail, so pop in to the shop to collect your trail map, and fortify yourself with a cup of something and one of Sharon's exceedingly good cakes.
