We've been sitting on this for a while, so it's a huge pleasure to announce the first gig BTL event this year, the biggest yet! We're excited to announce that The Crawling will be headlining the Albert Shed on February 7th as part of their tour. Hailing from Lisburn in Northern Ireland, The Crawling are a death-doom band that perform songs around themes of melancholia, grief and misery with with utmost conviction. They have released three albums to critical acclaim and have gone from strength to strength playing festivals across Europe, including twice at Bloodstock. Crushingly heavy and blackened to their core, this is a show you don't want to miss! Supporting on the night we introduce Saarkoth from Staffordshire. Inspired by Emperor, Winterfylleth and Agalloch, they put on an incredible black metal show soaked with atmosphere and extremity and are an exciting proposition in the UK metal scene. And speaking of extremity, we're also excited to announce the return of previous headliners OmegaThrone! Those who saw that show know they are a mighty blackened force to be reckoned with and their set to kick off the night with another blinding display!
So mark it on your calendars, tell everyone and keep the momentum going within the Shrewsbury metal scene. This is going to be one hell of night. See you down the front.
