David Harrower’s Blackbird returns to NYC in April
The Olivier-winning play will take on a new form in this raw, intimate staging, making the audience a fly-on-the-wall in a disturbingly tense room.
New York City, NY — Studio 17, an intimate new theatre near Union Square, is proud to present a gripping, limited-run production of David Harrower’s Olivier-winning play Blackbird, directed by Suzanne DiDonna, a lifetime member of the Actors Studio, starring Amazon’s FROM-series Scott McCord as Ray and Danish/American Emilie Rose Bak as Una.
Shedding light on a controversial theme, this aims to be a raw, uninterrupted 90 minute portrayal of human nature; something far too absent in our fast-paced world.
