Join Black Women Rest for an engaging Author Chat with Ashley Cobb, the certified and award-winning sexual health educator and author of Pleasure Please! The Black Woman’s Guide to Better Sex, moderated by our favorite girly Kenya Feel Me. This conversation creates space for honest, thoughtful dialogue about pleasure, intimacy, and what it means for Black women to feel informed, confident, and empowered in our bodies and relationships.
On April 24th at 6:30 PM at The Sanctuary in Montgomery, Alabama, we’re leaving shame at the door and diving into pleasure, play, and bold conversations about intimacy. Expect fun games, real talk, delicious bites and drinks, and a signed copy of the book to take home.
During this lively conversation, we’ll explore topics like reclaiming pleasure as Black women, unlearning shame around our bodies and desires, communicating what we want in relationships, deepening intimacy, and building confidence in our sensual and sexual wellbeing. Expect honesty, laughter, curiosity, and the kind of conversation we don’t always get to have out loud.
