Comprised of renowned musicians, Damian Murdoch (Guitar) and Dalai Cellai (Cello), Black Veil’s masterful fusion of haunting cello melodies and captivating guitar riffs creates music that feels like the score to a gripping film. Drawing from neo-classical, grunge, dark ambient, black metal, and film music influences, their work is defined by its ability to evoke powerful imagery while taking listeners on a mesmerizing journey into the depths of human emotion.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS
• Damian Murdoch is an Australian guitar player widely regarded for his work in experimental blues, progressive rock and metal bands. His guitar playing ranges from intricate fingerpicking to explosive riffing, adding both complexity and raw energy to the music of Black Veil. Murdoch has performed all over the world with various internationally acclaimed acts, including The Ocean Collective, and leads his own Damian Murdoch Trio and Bandito Deathlicker.
• Dalai Cellai is a Greek-Mongolian versatile cellist known for her boundary-pushing playing along with her film and theatre work. Her dynamic range on the cello has seen her collaborate with world-renowned musicians and bands, establishing her as a captivating performer on stages across the world. Providing the perfect counterpart with her deeply emotional and distinctive cello playing, her ability to seamlessly move between genres infuses the music with a beautiful timeless quality.

Rooted in a classical music background, she creates ethereal textures and singular sonic effects that are haunting, mysterious, and profoundly melodic.
Formerly of Negură Bunget, Din Brad, and Dara Project, she has toured across Europe, the United States, and China, performing at renowned festivals such as Wacken Open Air, Hellfest, Roadburn, Graspop, Exit Festival, Maryland Death Fest, Party.San Open Air, Inferno Metal Meeting, Brutal Assault, and Summer Breeze.
Her music carries a dreamlike, enigmatic aura, at times haunting and peculiar, yet always cinematic and deeply melodious, like wandering into the score of a world that exists only at the edge of sleep.
