Are you a Black parent or caregiver in Grand Rapids seeking connection and support from other parents who share similar joys and challenges as you raise young people? Join us on Saturday, March 28th, for a Parent Cafe specifically designed by and for Black parents and caregivers. This Black Parent Café will center on how we as a community care and nurture our children. From what school they attend, friends they have, their time on social media, run-ins with law enforcement... how do we protect our children? Register to join the discussion!
RSVP by March 26 at https://forms.gle/uLScm4EFRub11DsX8
Snacks will be available, and you are welcome to bring your kids with some of their favorite activities to help keep them busy in one of our side rooms! If you have questions, please get in touch with Fredericka, the UCC Education Justice Parent and Family Organizer, at [email protected].
*Please note that this event is specifically for folks who identify as Black. If you are interested in attending a Parent Cafe in the future, please reach out to Fredericka at [email protected] for future dates!*
