BLACK MENtal Health: An Introduction To ICBM Workshop Series
Come join us for an insightful evening focusing on Black Mensā Mental Health. This in-person introduction is aimed to provide a safe space for men and women to discuss ongoing challenges, emotional issues, relationships, discover resources and more. You will also discover how the ICBM Workshop Series is designed to support the mental health and well-being of Black Men.
Using culturally informed evidence-based research, Black men (and those who love them), will be asked to examine and reconsider how we understand issues around emotional intelligence, masculinity (good & bad) and misplaced anger in an effort to tap into wells of undiscovered strengths and abilities.
While becoming better grounded, despite the adversities regularly faced, Black men are then asked to understand and build superior support networks, have more meaningful emotional outcomes, healthier relationships, and stronger family legacies.
Whether you're seeking guidance or simply want to connect with others, this event is for you. Let's break the stigma and prioritize mental health together!
