About this Event
The Black Maternal Health Fair is a free community event designed to raise awareness, provide education, and offer support around Black maternal health. Hosted by the Physical and Mental Health Committee of the Greenville (SC) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., this event will spotlight the unique experiences and needs of Black mothers and birthing individuals.
Through resources, expert insight, and community support, we aim to foster greater access, advocacy, and empowerment in maternal wellness.
Hosted by the Physical and Mental Health Committee, this event includes a maternal health panel, pelvic floor exercise demos, local vendors, and a Free Community Baby Shower for Black mothers and moms-to-be.
We are kindly asking all sorors to donate items to support the baby shower portion of the event. Requested items include:
- Diapers (all sizes)
- Baby wipes
- Children’s books
- Breast pads
- Bottles
- Baby lotion
- Pacifiers
- New onesies or baby outfits (0-12 months)
Please bring donated items to the September chapter meeting.
